On April’s Third Thursday, in honor of Week of the
Young Child activities and April as Autism Awareness Month,
the Museum is partnering with the Autism Society of Illinois
(ASI) to present a concert by The Naturals, a Chicago-area
band created to promote the musical abilities of two young
men with autism. The Naturals will do two performances on
April 15, approximately 6pm and 6:30pm. Music is a meaningful
way for people with cognitive disabilities to showcase their
talent. Bring a friend! Admission to DCM on Thursday, April
15 after 5:00 p.m. is half-priced for this event!

Benefit for Autism Awareness being held at Austin's Saloon
in Libertyville, April 18th from 1~7pm. All proceeds will
be going to Autism Society of Illinois. This is an ALL AGES
SHOW, so everyone can come out and enjoy 3 of Chicago's
Finest Original Bands, Veilside, Lynch and O'Dette. Hope
