Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital offers comprehensive
behavioral health services, from prevention and early intervention
to treatment and aftercare. They offer both inpatient and
outpatient services. Their mission is to help individuals
of all ages learn practical ways to manage mental health problems.
Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital
Youth Inpatient Program
When your child and adolescent is struggling with serious
emotional issues, you may not know where to turn for help.
The Youth Inpatient Program at Alexian Brothers Behavioral
Health Hospital provides a supportive, therapeutic environment
for children and adolescents between the ages of 11 and 18
who are battling emotional illness. This intensive program
will help your child learn and practice healthy behaviors
and prepare for additional treatment in a less restrictive
setting. The Youth Inpatient Program can treat children/adolescents
with high functioning Autism or Asperger Syndrome.
Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital
Adolescent Partial Hospital Program &
Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program
When teenagers are struggling with difficult issues, emotional
problems, or substance use, extra support can help promote
healthy choices and behaviors. Alexian Brothers Behavioral
Health Hospital offers two programs for teens to help put
them on solid ground again. The Partial Hospital Program runs
five days per week for six hours each day, providing a therapeutic
transition from inpatient therapy or as an entry level of
care. The Intensive Outpatient Program runs 3 hours per day
and offers either morning or afternoon programming for 4 days
per week. Both programs work to return the adolescent to a
healthy level of functioning at home, school, and in the community.
These programs can treat adolescents with high functioning
Autism or Asperger Syndrome.
Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital
Child Partial Hospital Program
Children have unique ways of coping with problems and stress
in their lives. That's why it takes specially trained professionals
to effectively address the developmental needs of children.
The Child Partial Hospital Program at Alexian Brothers Behavioral
Health Hospital is dedicated to helping children between ages
8 and 12 improve coping skills and develop healthy strategies
to better manage emotional and behavioral problems.
As part of our day program, a child participates in structured
therapeutic activities that include counseling and education
to improve self-awareness, manage emotions and behavior, and
learn new skills to enhance family communication. The program
is able to tailor the child's therapeutic program to his or
her needs because of specialized clinical services offered.
The Child Partial Hospital Program can treat children with
high functioning Autism or Asperger Syndrome.
