Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders Resource Center
Brianne Lukowski, Psy.D.
Clinical Navigator
1786 Moon Lake Blvd, Suite 202
Hoffman Estates, IL 60169
847-755-8536
The Clinical Navigator of the Autism Spectrum and Developmental
Disorders resource center, Dr. Brianne Lukowski, works with
clients that have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Developmental
Disorder (DD). Clients and families are screened by phone,
e-mail or face-to-face by Dr. Lukowski, she then provides
triage services and assesses their need for services. Dr.
Lukowski will also provide brief counseling and advocacy for
families. Families may then be directed to either services
within the Alexian Brothers Health System (see below for details)
that work with ASD or DD, or they may be referred to services
in the community. The Clinical Navigator's role essentially
involves connecting families to the appropriate service providers.
The Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders Resource Center
also has educational information, such as, books, DVDs and
a computer to educate families about the disorders and available
resources.

Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
847-981-3630
The Neuroscience Institute has on staff two pediatric neuropsychologists
and they conduct very comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations.
Our pediatric neuropsychologists specialize in assessment,
diagnosis and treatment planning for children between the
ages of 18 months and 18 years, who present with a broad base
of neurological, psychiatric, medical, and learning disorders.
They also interface with the school and other providers to
ensure maximal educational and treatment success for the child.
In addition, they work closely with the child's family in
making appropriate referrals for services when necessary.
The pediatric neuropsychologists evaluate children presenting
with difficulties in learning, attention, behavior, socialization,
and emotional control. They assess children with neurological
and medical difficulties such as a disease or inborn developmental
problem, as well as brain injury from an accident, birth trauma,
or other physical stressors.
